#927 winbind provider: replace on-demand enumeration
Closed: Invalid None Opened 12 years ago by pzuna.

When enumerating groups members are not displayed (as if the groups were empty) until the members are retrieved. If we enumerate users first, the problem doesn't show up.

We might want to replace on-demand enumeration and enumerate automatically in preset intervals as we do in the LDAP provider.

We discussed this with Simo on IRC and decided it would be a nice to have when we get the Winbind provider into a usable state.

There is not going to be a separate winbind provider. Is it applicable to the AD provider?

No, the AD provider is using the same enumeration mechanism as the rest of the SSSD.

Closing.
