#754 DNS discovery should fall back to SSSD domain name in 1.5
Closed: Fixed None Opened 13 years ago by myllynen.

With SSSD 1.2 (which is part of, e.g., RHEL 6.0) DNS discovery uses SSSD domain name but with 1.5.0 only dns_discovery_domain and machine's domain name are used - this could be seen as a regression since upgrading from 1.2 to 1.5.0 makes SSSD to stay offline eternally with unmodified sssd.conf.

Please make 1.5 to fall back to SSSD domain name as well (if both dns_discovery_domain is unspecified and the lookup against the machine domain name fails).
