When logging in online and hitting a timeout SSSD informs "Offline authentication." It would probably be more helpful if in the case of timeout SSSD would mention that the authentication lasted for too long, did an offline authentication.
Well, the fact that it did an offline authentication is strictly correct.
I don't think we want to report to an end-user logging in that the authentication happened offline for a particular reason.
I do suggest that we change the message to read "Authenticated with cached credentials", which seems a little less confusing when you're logging in remotely via SSH.
