#438 add some documentation to sssd.conf about 2307 vs 2307bis symptoms
Closed: Fixed None Opened 14 years ago by duffy.

If you set up a client to auth via a 2307bis server but use the sys-config-auth settings for LDAP, you'll be setting the client up to connect using 2307. This means groups will not be available and network resources may be inaccessible although you have permissions to use them.

This is a reminder for Stephen that we should add a comment to the line in sssd.conf where you switch between 2307 and 2307bis that if you're experiencing issues where groups are not available / network resources are not accessible that should be, you should try setting it to 2307bis.
