In general, I agree, but opening a downstream support case would give this request a higher priority :-)

For now, I don't think it would happen sooner than 1.15..

Also, what attribute maps would you like you have? Is there any commonly used attribute schema?

I would expect SSSD would default to RFC2307bis schema in case of "autofs_provider=ad".
But I would like to to have the possibility to override this using
ldap_schema = RFC2307

also 1.15 is fine for me - it is not urgent :)

Please open a downstream support ticket if you need this to be implemented sooner.
