#2403 "Mapping ID [4294967295] to SID failed" messages clutter the sssd domain log
Closed: Fixed None Opened 9 years ago by jhrozek.

Ticket was cloned from Red Hat Bugzilla (product Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6): Bug 1125294

Description of problem:
"Mapping ID [4294967295] to SID failed" messages clutter the sssd domain log

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
sssd-1.11.6-12.el6

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Configure sssd with ad provider and set debug_level=0xfff0
2. start sssd.
3. Probably lookup a user or even don't do anything.
4. Observe the domain log

Actual results:
The domain logs are constantly cluttered with the following messages:
(Thu Jul 31 04:44:37 2014) [sssd[be[sssdad.com]]] [ad_account_can_shortcut]
(0x0080): Mapping ID [4294967295] to SID failed: [IDMAP domain not found]
(Thu Jul 31 04:44:37 2014) [sssd[be[sssdad.com]]] [ad_account_info_handler]
(0x0400): Cannot determine the right domain: Input/output error
(Thu Jul 31 04:44:37 2014) [sssd[be[sssdad.com]]] [users_get_send] (0x0080):
[4294967295] did not match any configured ID mapping domain
(Thu Jul 31 04:44:37 2014) [sssd[be[sssdad.com]]] [users_get_send] (0x0080):
[4294967295] did not match any configured ID mapping domain

Expected results:
Can we suppress these messages from cluttering up the logs?

Additional info:

Michal, can you take a look at the bude level of the messages if some of them can be silenced? If not, we can just close the bug.
