#2236 The cleanup task has no DEBUG statements
Closed: Fixed None Opened 10 years ago by jhrozek.

While debugging a problem that a downstream user ran into, I realized that the cleanup task has no DEBUG statements, which makes it very hard to debug it. The only message we log at this point is:

(Mon Feb 10 17:10:31 2014) [sssd[be[NAME]]] [ldap_id_cleanup_send] (0x0020): Failed to cleanup caches (5 [Input/output error]), retrying later!

Pavel, this might be a nice task to check out the cleanup code :-)

This is a minor task that shouldn't block 1.11.5 and perhaps should be moved out of 1.11.x completely.

milestone: SSSD 1.11.5 => SSSD 1.11.6

As discussed on sssd-devel, we can move this ticket to 1.13. Pavel, if you already started, feel free to bump back to 1.12.
