#1958 [RFE] Expose the list of trusted domains to IPA
Closed: Fixed None Opened 10 years ago by jhrozek.

Currently the trusted domains are only stored in the cache as any other object. When we store the additional information FreeIPA needs, then we should expose them to IPA using some kind of interface. Maybe we could use libnss_sss_idmap, details tdb.

This is not a requirement of the 1.11 effort.

Needed for the IPA trusted domains work.

After some discussion we came to the conclusion that IPA will run the lookup itself since it is a single DCE-RPC call which has python bindings. Since there is no immediate need for the interface I lowered the priority to minor.
