Right now SSSD can be configured (joined) to IPA domain using ipa-client-install script. We need a similar capability but against AD. The proposal is to leverage samba4 client libraries and python bindings around them. SSSD would create a command line utility that will be invoked by authconfig for AD case in the same way as it is done with IPA. It should be and optional capability per distro.
