I have had a report of a user trying to install letsencrypt in F23 but getting a dependency mismatch error, since DNF is not picking up the obsoletes correctly and installing certbot instead: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1342249
This does not occur in F24 since LE was retired prior to FinalFreeze and as a result there is no letsencrypt package in the repo to confuse matters.
Can you please retire (well remove from the repos) letsencrypt and python2-letsencrypt so that users who do a dnf install letsencrypt get the correct certbot package and libraries.
We have no way to retire a package from a stable release. the package will still always exist for people to fetch. dnf will have to be fixed to work correctly.
