#5781 Live ISO image for F20 l10n and i18n test days
Closed: Fixed None Opened 10 years ago by anipeter.

Hi,

Please create a live image for Fedora l10n and i18n test days. The test days are scheduled as below:-

L10n test day: 3rd Oct 2013 (https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-qa/ticket/408)
I18n test day: 29th Oct 2013 (https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-qa/ticket/409)

Hence, appreciate if we can have the image ready by 30th Sept (Monday) latest. The mail request to rel-eng team is here: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/rel-eng/2013-September/016644.html

Thanks
Ani Peter

Appreciate if anyone could respond to this.

Thanks
Ani

Normally, I would suggest nightly lives could be ok for this, but they are failing right now.

I have spun a special one:

http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=6006238

Let me know if that will meet your needs.

I tried this and it is working. User can switch language. I have two questions

  1. Can we get x86 image with x86_64?

  2. What will be URL for image for Testers, koji itself or on dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt?

thanks

You mean a 32bit / i686 image as well as the x86_64 one?

The koji one will be valid for 2 weeks... if we need it to be around longer than that we would have to put it in alt. Do you need to around for longer? Or is that fine?

2 week should be enough time for Translation Test day.
