#5457 non-world-readable content on mirrors
Closed: Fixed None Opened 11 years ago by mdomsch.

When the MirrorManager crawler crawls mirrors.us.kernel.org, it reports this:

Directory pub/fedora-secondary/archive/releases/test/12-Alpha/Fedora/sparc/os/Packages is not up-to-date on this host.
Directory pub/fedora-secondary/archive/updates/testing/12/sparc/repodata is not up-to-date on this host.
Directory pub/fedora-secondary/archive/releases/11/Everything/sparc/os/Packages is not up-to-date on this host.
Directory pub/alt/releases/17/Multi is not up-to-date on this host.
Directory pub/fedora-secondary/archive/updates/testing/12/sparc64/repodata is not up-to-date on this host.

These are not up-to-date because the content in them is not world readable on the master mirrors:
$ ls -al /pub/alt/releases/17/Multi/
total 14047632
drwxr-xr-x. 2 ausil releng 4096 May 25 2012 .
drwxr-sr-x. 4 ausil releng 4096 May 25 2012 ..
-rw-r--r--. 1 ausil releng 1073 May 25 2012 Fedora-17-Multi-CHECKSUM
-rw-r--r--. 1 ausil releng 6510385152 May 25 2012 Fedora-17-Multi-Desktop.iso
----------. 1 ausil releng 7817943040 May 25 2012 Fedora-17-Multi-Install.iso

(and similar for the other directories noted).

Please chmod the files in these directories to be 0644 if they're still needed, and if not, nuke them.

Thanks,
Matt

this should all be cleaned up. I do notice that there are mirrors that are regularly updated that are missing from mirrormanager
