Requesting TC1 for Fedora 17 Alpha. Please build from regular Rawhide, no /usr move stuff. No special packages should be required, everything needed is in Rawhide - anaconda 17.5 is the key thing.

I'm not sure (still) if we have a definite policy on what lives are generated at what points, but please provide at least the four main desktop lives (GNOME, KDE, Xfce, LXDE). Thanks!

Currently the install image path is http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/stage/17-Alpha.TC1/Fedora/Fedora/ (not a big deal but easy to fix).

i fell asleep while it was rsyncing and didnt double check. ive fixed it now.

We dont have lives. they all failed to compose, firefox was uninstallable. we normally do just the desktops. for alpha and beta. we only do all spins for GA

I built Firefox 10 before the compose, specifically to avoid problems with it during compose, so I don't know why the compose is pulling Firefox 9. Something wrong in the generation process? http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=297054

adamw: I keep running into dep issues with Firefox 10 on F16; dunno if it's related.

Adam firefox 10 Was not in the rawhide repo on the mirrors when we composed, we do need to push the bits before we pull them in, anything built but not yet pushed doesnt get pulled in automattically. we need to add them to the bleed repo. thats not something thats ever changed. i guess all the talk about reverting bits ended up with a breakdown in communication.

Just building is never enough. it also needs pushed to a repo.

Requesting TC2, now the /usr move changes are in and we should have a lorax capable of composing.

Please include these recently-completed builds in the compose:

The first is required to get a successful post-/usr move compose (so it may need to be used on the compose host rather than / in addition to being included in the compose itself). The second should fix the 'vesa' driver, which is important particularly to VirtualBox users and will allow us to test the 'basic graphics boot' stuff. The third should fix anaconda-based upgrades by preparing for the /usr move feature on upgrade. The fifth fixes the issue with binutils miscompiling some stuff including systemd - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=788107 - and the fifth is a systemd rebuilt against the fixed binutils.
