django-authopenid is a active branch in EPEL 6 but has been retired for Fedora. Could rel-eng unretire this for Fedora? I would like to maintain the Fedora branch

My understanding is that the policy applies when the package is fully retired. Does it really need to go through a re-review when a active branch with the latest upstream release already exists in EPEL? It would be trivial to do this but not sure whether there is any rationale to do so
