[https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/libarchive-2.8.4-3.el5 libarchive-2.8.4-3.el5] has been available in updates-testing for el5 since 2011-02-23.[[BR]]
I would like to provide archivemount for el5, but archivemount requires libarchive.[[BR]]
To me it is unclear why libarchive is still in updates-testing, it has been there for over two weeks now. I'm co-maintainer for libarchive, but marking it stable does not work (does not meet acceptance criteria).[[BR]]
Can you please check if libarchive really should not be marked as stable? If it can not be moved to stable yet, can you make it available in the build-root so that archivemount can be built and enter updates-testing?[[BR]]
Many thanks, Niels
It's not been in testing over two weeks... it was pushed on 2011-02-23, so two weeks would be 2011-03-09?
I can add an override for it now... done. Let us know when you no longer need it.
Many thanks Kevin!
I could build archivemount for el5 now, the override is not needed anymore.[[BR]]
Sorry about the miscalculation in the days, seems that February was as short as every year :-/[[BR]]
The [https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Package_update_acceptance_criteria#All_other_updates Package Update Acceptance Criteria] does mention that the packages should be in updates-testing for a week... Maybe I was too impatient and the package will be pushed any time soon.[[BR]]
Sorry for the confusion, thanks for your help.
Untagged. Thanks.
Let us know if there is anything further we can do from here.
