#4382 Cannot build evolution-2.32.2
Closed: Invalid None Opened 13 years ago by mcrha.

I'm about to build evolution 2.32.2 update for F14 but the build system refuses to do its job. See task http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=2767039 for more information (BuildError: No srpms found in /var/lib/mock/dist-f14-build-973330-147294/root/tmp/scmroot/evolution).

The only thing I did was adding a new sources (tar.bz2) file and increased the release version with proper changelog entry and nothing else, thus I do not expect me being a culprit here. I run "fedpkg build" as usual in my checkout of evolution f14 branch. Note it worked couple hours ago with gtkhtml3 and evolution-data-server (which is required for a build of evolution, as stated in ticked #4381).

http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/getfile?taskID=2767042&name=build.log
error: File /builddir/build/SOURCES/evolution-2.32.2.tar.bz2: No such file or directory

You sure you uploaded the right sources?

Confirmed, sources still contains:
47c1d45366aaa69e79a320f351ef065d evolution-2.32.1.tar.bz2

then there failed something and I either overlooked it or it didn't tell me, because I invoked:
$ fedpkg new-sources evolution-2.32.2.tar.bz2

And when I repeated it I got:
Uploading: 9bdf73b69f90ca87e4b66a9c7f871325 evolution-2.32.2.tar.bz2
File already uploaded: evolution-2.32.2.tar.bz2
Uploaded and added to .gitignore:
Source upload succeeded. Don't forget to commit the sources file

and you did do the "Don't forget to commit the sources file" step? Cause I don't see it in my own checkout.

Sure I did, the .spec file changes were committed, but the 'sources' file weren't updated, neither on my checkout where I did all changes. I didn't find what I could do wrong, but I probably did. Either way I re-committed the change and it worked afterwards.
