It's not about ABI, it's more about our decision. gtkhml3, evolution-data-server, evolution, evolution-exchange and evolution-mapi are packages tight together quite much, and a fix for one package can also mean to have a fix in another, thus we decided to request in rpm the latest version of the dependant package, to ensure users will have the complete fix, not only the partial one.

The dark side of this decision is to deal with the build policy for stable releases, and every update request tagging.
