A new abi-breaking gmp landed in rawhide today, which breaks (at least) coreutils and the default buildroot.
I'm untagging it for now, until we can come up with a plan on how to ease this in without breaking the world.
The build in question was gmp-5.0.1-1.fc14 : https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=174793
Where do we stand with this? We could introduce a compat gmp build that provides the old sonames until we get things rebuilt, is something like that being worked on? Do we need this ticket open still?
Haven't heard anything from gmp-owner , so I guess there's no rel-eng involvement to be had in the short-term... closing.
