#3589 glib2 2.24.0 build tag for F-13
Closed: Fixed None Opened 14 years ago by denis.

hi, could glib2-2.24.0-1.fc13 be tagged for build for F-13, I need to compile the entire gtkmm suite which has a deep dependency length.

tagged.

please let us know when the builds needing this are done.

Thanks Rex,

I'm still seeing a build fail:

http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/getfile?taskID=2099189&name=root.log

DEBUG util.py:256: No Package Found for glib2-devel >= 2.24.0

wait for this to return,

koji wait-repo --build glib2-2.24.0-1.fc13 --target dist-f13

(it takes some time for the newRepo tasks to complete)

Done, thank you

Is the dist-f13 tag going to remain on glib2 2.24 ?

glib2-2.24.0-1.fc13 will go into dist-f13 whenever it's submitted to bodhi (and get's pushed stable). Looks like it's queue'd

Does that answer your question?

It does, thank you. The problem is I have at least 10 updates to push, all interdependent in complex ways. I'm just stumped that the regular process involves filing tickets to rel-eng, which wasn't the case before for unreleased fedoras. This makes the process unmanageable to me.

That's the tradeoff for the no frozen rawhide proposal (and of course wouldn't have been any different for past fedora releases once they were frozen). You can always do a 'make tag-request' which makes filing these a little easier.
