#3508 Untag embryo from F-13
Closed: Invalid None Opened 14 years ago by thomasj.

Dear members of rel-eng,

please untag embryo-0.9.9.063-1.fc13 http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=156184 from F13. Because it breaks the dependency chain and the ugrade paths.

Best regards

We cannot make builds go backwards, so you or the maintainer will have to fix the issue with builds that are n-v-r higher.

The DR17, EFL chain is right now broken in F13. Nobody is able to install Enlightenment at this point.
The next version isn't released yet, so impossible to fix it with a higher n-v-r.
I'm the maintainer, the one who built it was my co-maintainer, sorry.

I filed a FESCo ticket as suggested in IRC, hopefully they will allow you to untag it.

Best regards

Why cant you revert the changes bump the Release and rebuild? why must it wait for update to a new version?

My bad. It needs to go back to 0.9.9.050. That is the version the rest of the packages in the chain have. Updating to .063 as embryo is right now isn't working at the moment. There are two deprecated packages that needs new replacements. But there's no time to even test it proper if everything works.
