#3277 f-13 schedule task#4 - Create Installable Images for QA testing #1
Closed: Fixed None Opened 14 years ago by jlaska.

According to the Fedora 13 rel-eng [http://poelstra.fedorapeople.org/schedules/f-13/f-13-releng-tasks.html schedule], Jan 21 marks the first official drop of installable rawhide images. This ticket is intended to track the creation of those installable images so that the [https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Rawhide_Acceptance_Test_Plan rawhide acceptance test plan] can be run against those images.

Jkeating indicated that the schedule compose is blocked due to a glibc bug. Notting is investigating.

For details, see [https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=556584 bug#556584 - crash when running createrepo due to glibc's malloc checking].

Jesse indicated he would work around bug#556584 (glibc) by pulling in a prior version of glibc. In the meantime, the X input issue remains present.

We need to build a new anaconda. The problem there is I removed hald because
I was told NM didn't need it anymore and since it was the only user at the

it looks like X grew a dependency on hald in that time period. It uses it to
find input devices. Ugh.

I'll get a new anaconda build going. NVR will be anaconda-13.22-1.
