#3224 compiz tagging mess
Closed: Fixed None Opened 14 years ago by drago01.

Hi,

I have submitted an update to testing which consists of this packages:
compiz-fusion-extras-0.8.2-4.fc12, compiz-fusion-0.8.2-5.fc12, compiz-0.8.2-20.fc12

The compiz build had a regression, so I never pushed it to stable.

Today I have fixed the compiz package, deleted the old update and wanted to push the new build to testing, but bodhi tells me "no you can't" (compiz-fusion-0.8.2-5.fc12 not tagged as an update candidate) ...

I tryed to fix this by just bumping the release but it did not work, because compiz-0.8.2-20.fc12 is no longer tagged as updates-override.

So I have no idea what to do other than asking you (rel-eng) to fix this (either tag compiz-0.8.2-21.fc12 as updates-override or just fix bodhi to let me submit the update).

My inbox is full of bug reports and I would like the spam^Wreports to stop ;)

Thanks

compiz-0.8.2-21.fc12 tagged for buildroot

Not sure how best to deal with compiz-0.8.2-20.fc12 being tagged dist-f12-updates-testing with it's bodhi update having been deleted without being unpushed. Manually remove dist-f12-updates-testing and add dist-f12-updates-candidate?

Attempting to fix mess with:

{{{
$ koji untag-pkg dist-f12-updates-testing \
compiz-fusion-extras-0.8.2-4.fc12 \
compiz-fusion-0.8.2-5.fc12 \
compiz-0.8.2-20.fc12

$ koji tag-pkg dist-f12-updates-candidate \
compiz-fusion-extras-0.8.2-4.fc12 \
compiz-fusion-0.8.2-5.fc12 \
compiz-0.8.2-20.fc12
}}}

This was taken care of.
