This build includes a patch by David Airlie to make gamma fading work properly in multihead setups, by using randr for this, instead of the obsolescent xf86vidmode extension.
Tested by David Airlie, Jon McCann and myself, in various multihead setups.

Please tag gnome-screensaver-2.28.0-4.fc12 instead, which contains a fixed version of the gamma patch described above, as well as a patch to make gnome-screensaver work much better in dynamic multihead scenarios, where monitors appear and disappear while the screen is locked.
One common scenario here is suspend at home, then dock at work and resume. Previously, in this situation, the monitor connected to the dockng station would come up unlocked.
And when monitors disappeared, gnome-screensaver would crash after entering the password.
The multihead patch has been tested by myself using a fake multihead setup, and the patch has been reviewed by Ray Strode.
There is a newer tag request for gnome-screensaver.
