We are requesting approval to get sugar-toolkit tagged for F12, as well as to get it moved into the current buildroot.
The package has been rebuilt and it's Koji Build NVR is: sugar-toolkit-0.86.1-2.fc12
The only change in this build is to remove python-json from the dependencies, as this is no longer present in F12 and we would otherwise end up with broken dependencies in F12's final release.
Not accepting the request would prevent the Sugar Team in Fedora from building any activity at this point, as they all depend on the (currently broken) sugar-toolkit.
Since this implies just removing a dependency (which has been moved into the general Python package), no actual code changed is involved and the risk insofar very limited.
Yes, would be awesome to get this in as soon as possible, that we can ask for more exceptions then ;p
Sorry for updating this request again. Thanks to getting the new sugar-toolkit into the buildroot, we were able to complete our latest builds. Could we get those tagged for the beta? They affect should affect nothing but the Sugar environment itself and bring quite some improvements to it.
