Hi,
I tried to chain-build 'maven-surefire plexus-registry maven-doxia maven-shared' followed by maven-scm but after building maven-surefire, waitrepo timed out:

It appears that some of the earlier builds in the chain have hit the build repo so this isn't a pressing concern anymore. I'm still puzzled by the timeout, though.
wait-repo has a max timeout on how long it will wait. We've been having some overly long newRepo task delays and have been bumping up against this timeout. We've done some things to reduce the time recently so it should get better.
