#1936 "koji latest-pkg" doesn't match what is in the repository
Closed: Invalid None Opened 14 years ago by kasal.

We have noticed that there is an inconsistence between the koji latest-pkg command for tag dist-f10-updates-testing or dist-f10-updates and between what then goes to the Updates distribution, see this posting:
https://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-perl-devel-list/2009-June/msg00394.html

It seems that the tag in koji inherits from dist-f9-updates, but this is not reflected no the dewnload site. Could you please resolve this?

Getting
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=107002
Into F-10 updates would help too.

But it will happen as soon as the bodhi operators get to it.
This is a process that works and is not related to the problem I report here.

True, there's subtle tag inheritance funkiness going on.

Inheritance isn't well setup for updates, as bodhi doesn't properly know how to handle the announcements for inherited builds, nor would it know which builds to compose for updates vs builds from every tag. We don't have any solid plans to fix it at this time.
