Bug #496026 describes a problem where Intel graphics cards do not have the chvt removed due to a typo bug in pm-utils upstream. I've backported the trivial patch which is reported to work fine.
Impact of not tagging this is that owners of Intel 855GM do not get working suspend. I would really like this to be fixed for the release. Thanks.
