#1577 F11 devel freeze break for python-virtinst-0.400.3-7
Closed: Fixed None Opened 15 years ago by crobinso.

Hi,

I'd like to build a new version of python-virtinst for F11 to address Bug 495128, which can falsely deny installing new VMs if install media selinux labelling doesn't appear to be correct.

I think the patch is pretty safe (it's just turning exceptions into warnings), and fixes the problem for me. Not allowing this change will break ISO install provisioning for people with NFS home directories, unless selinux is outright disabled since permissive isn't accounted for (there are other more obscure cases this will affect as well).

Thanks.

Go ahead and build the new version first.

Ah, sorry about that. Thought it wasn't allowed for some reason:

We can't tag what isn't built. ;)

+1 from me.
