#1541 Please include system-config-date-1.9.38-1.fc11 in F11 final
Closed: Fixed None Opened 15 years ago by nphilipp.

Hi,

please tag system-config-date-1.9.38-1.fc11 into dist-f11 so that it is present on the final media. This new version contains a small fix by Dan Walsh for https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=490323 'SELinux is preventing gpm (gpm_t) "read" etc_t.' which restores the SELinux labels of the target file after copying over zoneinfo files from /usr/share/zoneinfo to /etc/localtime. As this is used in firstboot, this change needs to be in final to be effective for new installations, otherwise people would end up with mislabeled /etc/localtime which is potentially needed by every process dealing with system time. I've reviewed the (really short) patch and tried it out on my (F10) system with no obvious ill effects.

Thanks,
Nils
