#1281 Please add lmms-vst to the multilib whitelist.
Closed: Fixed None Opened 15 years ago by thm.

See https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=443771#c14.

The -vst subpackage depends on wine-devel and thus can (at least in koji) only be built on i386, but it is perfectly usable (and thus should be installed) also on x86_64.

I don't see why - we don't make end-user applications multilib.

I can only repeat myself: It's not the complete application that needs to be multilib, but only the -vst subpackage, containing a small helper application hosting VST plugins. And this helper application needs to be built against wine-devel, which in turn is not available on the x86_64 builders.

So what do you propose how to cope with that issue?

After discussion on irc, added.
