#342 Outdated HTTP client
Closed: migrated 3 years ago by dmoluguw. Opened 11 years ago by edewata.

There are 4 different custom HTTP client implementations in cmsutil, cmstools, pkisilent, and test suite. They are outdated and each might work differently. They should be replaced with a more standard library such as Apache HTTP client.

This is causing a problem deploying KRA in IPA. See https://fedorahosted.org/freeipa/ticket/5388.

This requires removing legacy configuration servlets (ticket #1120).

Replaced legacy HttpClient in installation servlet:

  • master: aaacd71a2f125501645885d3da1de18459782572

Remaining tasks:

  • replace legacy HttpClient used by KRA connector
  • remove legacy HttpClient classes
