Clone installation fails when the Dogtag CA is signed by an external CA, and the serial number of the external CA's signing cert equals the serial number of the Dogtag CA cert. The (immediate) external CA cert is erroneously deleted from the NSSDB during configuration, which causes certificate validation errors when connecting to DS.
The underlying problem is that we erroneously look at the Subject DN instead of the Issuer DN when searching for the Dogtag CA cert in the NSSDB (for deletion and subsequent re-addition).
