#6 glyph class errors in Lohit Devanagari GDEF table
Closed: Fixed None Opened 12 years ago by jfkthame.

The GDEF table in Lohit Devanagari (v2.5.1) classifies the glyph "asciicircum" as class 3 (mark), which is incorrect - the ASCII circumflex U+005E should be a spacing base character. This leads to problems when it is used with a rendering engine that uses the GDEF table to identify glyphs that should have no advance width.

(See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=721719 for user reports of the impact of this bug.)

A similar error applies to the glyph "afii57929" (U+02BC), which is a spacing modifier letter.

Apologies for coming so late to this issue. Fixed in master will available with the next release of Lohit Devanagari.
