I use the Liberation fonts on a system with bytecode hinting enabled, and I noticed that the hinting for 'y' seems to be a bit off kilter in version 1.04. I probably should've reported it in Beta 2, but it appears that the final version's already been released before I really had the chance to test it thoroughly.
I'm attaching some screenshots of OpenOffice.org with the old and new version of the fonts for comparison. This is a minor thing, to be sure, but it is a regression.

Also note that this only affects Sans Regular, not the other three styles of Sans. Changing the title to reflect that.

Added an attachment to show how Liberation Sans looks in Windows XP. No noticeable issues in larger sizes, but note how the 'y' is '''extremely''' misaligned in the 12-point sample.
