In a earlier discussion in the irc support group meeting, it was suggested that I give a heads up when there is a new release of the remix out and thats what I am doing. I don't recall all the details that were asked but http://omega.dgplug.org should have all the answers. If anything is unclear, let me know and I can answer that. Thanks

I have a few questions about your .ks - and figured here is as good a place as any to add my questions.

But first, welcome back. Long time no see. :)

Why are the adobe and google repos missing? I'd include those and leave them disabled by default. They are commonly requested.

Autoten, at least when i looked at it last, was a rats nest of massively ugly scripts loosely tied together with zero error checking. Are you sure you want to use that? Has it improved significantly in the last month or three?

You add two java packages instead of @java? Isn't the group easier - it's only 3 packages in total, and you have two of them already.

Why would a livecd include @virtualization?

I'm sure you have good reason - I'm just curious what those reasons are.

(fwiw, I used your f12 ks file as reference for my own pxe desktop files. glad to see you are keeping it going)

The announcement in my blog tries to answer this. I wasn't very comfortable listing those repos by default and while I don't particularly like autoten or anything but it does serve the purpose of making it not my problem in some way :-). There are some other similar apps too and I haven't evaluated if anything is better. If something better comes along, I will gladly use it instead. I haven't used @java merely because I wasn't aware of that group. These couple of packages were commented out in the desktop ks and I merely uncommented them a few revisions back and have retained it ever since. Could use the group next time. @virtualization is useful only post-installation but a lot of users use live images as a fast way to install it on their hard disk and go from there and a few users asked for it.

Thanks for the heads up and answers mether!
