Was having problems with glibc, apparently it came from the updates-testing repo (must've done something wrong during fedora install). Installing "Development tools" would give an error that glibc-common-2.12.90-19 was installed but glibc-common-2.12.90-18 was required.
Got help very fast with an explanation how to fix it (grabbing "Development Tools" from the updates-testing repo since trying to remove glibc-common-2.12.90-19 was not appreciated by the system since it was trying to remove the kernel ^^).
