Yum installing group packages does not work as expected.

Lets say if I wanted what is listed as Mate Desktop it does not fully install what is expected.

ticket:

I personally had an issue installing and updating several group installed packages

I also witnessed others having the same issue (silentusr)

Please describe what action or positive change could be adopted based on
this feedback:

create a simple page that explains which packages should be installed per group

have a list of working grouplist commands that work (and which group packages need work)

Any additional notes or logs:

<silentusr> randomuser: so like 'yum group install blah' does "funky" stuff?

<randomuser> silentusr, yum complains about "no groups file" and empty groups; sometimes
it installs the expected packages anyway and sometimes not
