My IRC nick is: Mkaysi
Please briefly describe the interaction that caused you to file this ticket:
I was banned from #Fedora-social temporarily (15 minutes) for giving support without thinking about it being support. We were talking about Steam on Linux and I didn't consider Steam being ontopic for support channel. The original question was in format that isn't compatible with Fedora channel faq, https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_Channel_FAQ#Avoid_Open_Ended_or_Over_General_Questions "Avoid asking questions that are over-general, such as 'Does anyone use <insert software>?'"
Please note other IRC nicks that are involved in this interaction:
jakkobi, fenrus02, BobJensen
Please describe what action or positive change could be adopted based on this feedback:
Someone could tell that action is considered as giving support and asking to move it to the main channel or /query before giving ban.

Thanks for your feedback!
Overall your ticket is confusing, the subject "Ban with wrong reason" seems to suggest you do not disagree with the ban but you disagree with the reason for it. Is there some other reason you deserved a ban that we don't know about?
The reason you and the other user were banned was for participating in support in a non-support channel. This is covered in the [https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_Social_Channel_FAQ#Support_Questions Channel FAQ] so you were banned for the right reason. Just because you feel something is off topic in #fedora does not mean that #fedora-social is the right place.
Thanks for the feedback, we discussed your ticket in our meeting on 2013-01-03.
If you want to discuss it more, show up to a meeting or mail the list for further discussion.
