No.
Besides the obvious "meeting people", I plan to give two (or more, if there's demand ;-) ) talks. I'd like to give a talk on usability, since in January I will also finish my internship and I hope to share some of my findings and best practices. I'd also like to give one or more about general design / artwork in Fedora. I'll discuss the details on that with Mo and the rest of the Design Team though.
I'll also give me the chance to participate in (design) brainstorms. For instance I heard there will be one about the new Anaconda UX, which I'd like to attend to give some input. Another things is GNOME Shell, I'd like to discuss how the Design Team will deal with that.
This is the cheapest one I found, with United Airlines:
Fr 28-jan-11: Flights 3203+3439: Amsterdam (AMS) 13:20 -> Newark (EWR) 16:05-17:20 -> Phoenix (PHX) 20:49 Tu 01-feb-11: Flights 3731+3318: Phoenix (PHX) 11:05 -> Houston (IAH) 14:40-15:30 -> Amsterdam (AMS) 08:05
I'm fine with other times or dates though.
Nope, I checked and I believe that won't be any problem.
Thanks to biertie, I no longer need an extra hotel room, so that only leaves the flight. :)
I said "no" to a partial subsidy at first, but since I now only need the flight, even a partial subsidy would be very helpful.
In the 12/17 subsidy meeting, we agreed to fund a plane flight for Jef.
Jef, please send Max your full name, date of birth, and seat preference in a private email, and he'll get this ticket purchased for you.
