1)Learning more about Fedora through the Hackfests and Talks.
2)Get more induced into the philosophy of FOSS
3)Meet some great ambassadors and people behind this wonderful project
4)This will certainly be a stepping stone in my pursuit of becoming a member of this community at a young age (meaning i can contribute more)

Yes,a malaysian visa will take about 2 weeks for processing.

There will be a "Funding Approval Meeting" on Friday March 23rd, 2012 at 14:00 UTC (#fudcon-planning). Please, do attend the meeting as we might have some questions for you before approving your funding.

Hi eltermino,

From yesterday's "Funding Approval Meeting", your funding has been approved. Would you prefer harish buying the flight ticket or prefer getting a reimbursement for it (as flight ticket pricing fluctuates and buying it yourself can get it at a lower price)?
