What will you accomplish by being at FUDCon? (Please be as specific as possible, since this is the most important factor in granting requests.)
** First of all I would like to get the opportunity of participating to the first (officially 2nd) FUDcon for APAC. By being exposing to the event I am looking forward to gain more experiences as this is my first FUDcon, meet other contributors (IRC ppl in live) and expand my network.
** In APAC region very few experienced FUDcon because its rare in the region therefore as a FAm I would like to participate and get the experience that can be shared later with other FUDcon organizers. (I can remember when we first discussed about FUDcon few had no enough experienced ppl to share ideas)
** I will be delivering a speech on 'Fedora & APAC' focusing fedora contribution from APAC based on case studies.
** I am working to make the FUDcon Pune success and also designing the FUDcon Tshirt.
** I wish the experience which I gain will help me to contribute effectively in my groups.

Do you need a visa or other official processing before you can attend FUDCon? If so, approximately how long does that processing take? I need to apply for visa and visa processing will be happen within 3, 4 days maximum.

This ticket was approved in the August 5th subsidy meeting. We've agreed to pay up to $350 USD for travel fare, as well as four nights in the hotel.
Please see if there is a less expensive flight option to fly into Mumbai, and then we'll help arrange taxi service from Mumbai to Pune.

The price for the flight would be around USD 260, I ll try to get the best price and will update as soon I book tickets. This change has been made as the organizers will be providing taxi service from Mumbai to Pune.

Just a quick reminder.
Inorder to leave country I have to get permission from the university, but they denied giving me permission because the conference will take place on the xam week. Therefore I am sorry I couldnt attend Pune. I canceled the ticket with my travel agent as well. No $$$ to pay.
