Some Internal or direct searches need to scope the entire <SUFFIX>. However the ldap client may know it is only interested in real entries and should avoid going through the Schema compat maps. In fact evaluating those maps has a significant impact as the number of entries increase.
It would be useful for such client to add a slapi-nis specific control to the search requests. When this control is present, slapi-nis callback will return immediately.
