The IPA framework apparently doesn't delete the ipaAssignedIDView attribute values nor does it check if a view is applied when being deleted. This can lead to dangling ipaAssignedIDView attribute values, which seems a bit odd to me.
I would expect the framework to error out if a view is still applied to a host, with an optional --force parameter which would cause the view to be removed along with all references.

If this is not a bug, we should at least cover it with test.
It's not a bug, not reproducible on upgrades from 3.3/4.0 nor new machines.
