For Realm Domains update and DNS Zone update (when modifying idnssoaname):

The 'Check DNS' button might be interpreted as 'check the DNS without updating the DNS zone' but in fact it also updates the DNS zone. I'd suggest using a regular 'Update' button, but add a 'Force' checkbox. A 'Force' checkbox would be more consistent with other dialog boxes than 'Skip DNS check' checkbox. Also, there might be other checks being done, not just DNS check.

During processing of remaining tickets in 4.2 Backlog, this ticket was found as suitable to be fixed in the nearest bugfixing branch - which is 4.2.x.
FreeIPA 4.2.1 was released, moving to 4.2.x.
This ticket doesn't have priority. There are more important Web UI parts to solve. Moving out.
