Currently DeprecatedParam removes the option and forbids to use it even on older clients.
We need to change DeprecatedParam's behavior to allow use deprecated options (and optionally show warning).
We should get rid of DeprecatedParam altogether and add a "deprecated" flag to Param instead. I wanted to fix this for some time, but I didn't get around to actually doing it.
Not a priority for next major release.
