We should have the ability to provide platform-dependent options for installers. Some platforms might have specifics that need a new option for the installer and some of our options do not make sense on other platforms (e.g. --no-ac for platforms where no authconfig is available).
Moving to ticket backlog. We would like to invite platform packagers to help us with this feature if they find it useful/necessary for their platform.

I'm closing this issue because it's a very generic feature request without an actual use case. Let's create a way for platform-specific options when we need it.
