Installation phase "Applying LDAP updates" takes really long. It is probably the longest "phase" on my machine.
Maybe we can add some "progress bar" to it. I mean something like this:
Applying LDAP updates [1/10]: update-file1.ldif [2/10]: update-file2.ldif ...
Updates aren't applied per-file but it should be possible to provide some limited feedback.
At some point we should have the list of dns to apply. A simple % done based on that may be good enough.
Any % of "objects" (whatever it means in LDAP updater-context) can work.
After all, almost anything will be better than nothing :-)
