#2916 ipa-client-install should warn about wrong SELinux settings
Closed: wontfix 5 years ago Opened 11 years ago by mkosek.

Some configurations of IPA client requires certain SELinux setting. So just like we check and fix SELinux settings in ipa-server-install, we should also do these checks for the client.

The first candidate is a necessity to have authlogin_nsswitch_use_ldap boolean set to 1 when ipa-client-install is run with --no-sssd option. When the SELinux boolean is not on, strange errors can pop up, like in this bugzilla: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=838822
