Enrollment using ipa-client from 5.7 or 5.8 (2.0-14 or 2.1.3-1) both fail with the same error against a 2.2 server:
Joining realm failed: ber_scanf() failed, Invalid control ?!
I believe this is due to DES keys. The client is requesting and expecting them but not getting them. I can't tell if the result is truncated or empty.
I'm able to get working keys if I ignore that scan error though.
Moving to next month iteration.
Only consider a missing enctype fatal if all are missing.
