If the hostname passed in the query in ipactl doesn't match anything in LDAP then a rather unhelpful error message is returned:
Failed to read data from Directory Service: Unknown error when retrieving list of services from LDAP: {'matched': 'cn=masters,cn=ipa,cn=etc,dc=example,dc=com', 'desc': 'No such object'}
We should provide a better error message and perhaps some other things to try.
